To upload music to the AC55ID marketplace, you need either an artist, label, or creator account. If you currently have a fan account, please note that you cannot switch directly to an artist, label, or creator account. Instead, you will need to create a new account based on your needs. Here are the links to get started with each account type:
Click on the link that best fits your needs, and you’ll be guided through the setup process!
All set? Let's go.
You can create your digital releases in Dashboard > Create New Release > Digital Release.
- Add the release and artist information, upload audio files from your computer and click Add More for additional tracks. (We only accept .wav files)
- To add additional artists to the release, click Add new artist and fill out the artist detail form. If the artist already has an AC55ID profile, copy and paste the URL into the form.
We have no idea why the artist wouldn't have signed up with AC55ID already, but no worries - by filling out their email, you can send them an invite to join us.
- After adding all your artists in the previous step you can organise your primary, remixers and featured artists for the release. Click on Select to find your added artists and click on + Add another release artist to assign the artist roles for the release.
- Once the release details are filled out, click Preview to check how it will appear on the marketplace, and Submit to confirm the release. The release date is available the next day at the earliest.
Please double-check that the release information is correct, as it cannot be edited after submission we strongly suggest you Preview it before every submission.
If you've submitted the release and then noticed errors, the quickest way to resolve this is to delete the release from the dashboard and start over or contact us for some digital therapy.
